WE AS MEMBERS OF NORTH AMERICAN SHEPHERD ASSOCIATION HAVE THE JOY OF USHERING IN OUR WONDERFUL BREED BY BEING ACCEPTED INTO THE CANINE DEVELOPMENTAL HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE REGISTRY (CDHPR).  THIS IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARD BREED RECOGNITION WITH THE UNITED KENNEL CLUB (UKC).  AS HISTORY SHOWS THIS IS A BIG STEP FOR OUR NORTH AMERICAN SHEPHERDS THAT HAVE BEEN DIVIDED FOR SO LONG BEING FORMERLY KNOWN AS MINIATURE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS.
